At Hampton Roads Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine we are passionate about the community we serve. We make an effort to provide access to prevention programs such as educational health seminars and health fairs. We also partner with local schools to provide care to their athletic teams as well as offer scholarship opportunities to college-bound students.
This community involvement contributes to a patient-centered approach by reaching out beyond the walls of our offices to meet the health care needs of the entire community.
Health Seminars
Hampton Roads Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is committed to patient education. We offer many opportunities for patients to play an active role in their health care, including community education seminars and joint replacement pre-operative classes. High School Athletics
The sideline is no place for an athlete. We are proud to support athletes at all levels of play here in Hampton Roads. Our team of physicians, therapists and trainers provide orthopaedic, injury prevention and rehabilitation services to some of the athletes at our local schools.
Scholarships
We are pleased to offer college-bound graduating seniors a scholarship opportunity. Our scholarship is open to the five area school districts–Newport News, Hampton, York County, Poquoson and Williamsburg–including public and private schools as well as home-schooled students. We award five $1,000 scholarships annually to select students. If you’re interested, apply here.
