“I just wanted to take a second to write to let Dr. Kerner know just how thankful I am that he saved my life. 22 years ago in January, I was a scared 17 year old kid that was involved in a bicycle accident that resulted in me having a broken neck, broken ‘wing bone’ and so on. I was transported to Maryview, where I would undergo surgery. Looking back, not only am I lucky enough to be alive, but I’m extremely lucky to be able to walk and I owe that to the good Lord above and Dr. Kerner. I really hope this email reaches him and he understands just how grateful I am. So from my wife, my 3 kids and myself, thank you.”
