Marisa Mosier, DPM, AACFAS

Marisa Mosier, DPM, AACFAS, is a compassionate and skilled podiatrist with extensive training in general podiatric care, surgical evaluation and management and diabetic wound care. She is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle (RRA).
Dr. Mosier earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) before attending Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM). She completed her Podiatric Residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she was Chief Resident. Dr. Mosier is dedicated to mentorship and education, and she was part of the podiatric resident teaching faculty at Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University (ODU).
Dr. Mosier has extensive training in general podiatric care, surgical evaluation and management and diabetic wound care. She specializes in evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic wounds of the lower extremities, as well as surgical techniques, with interests in diabetic limb salvage/charcot reconstruction, trauma and elective procedures.
Dr. Mosier is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) and Virginia Podiatric Medical Association (VPMA).
