MEET SARAH
Sarah Bott returned to Hampton Roads Orthopaedics Spine & Sports Medicine in July 2013. Sarah received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia in 1993. She then received her Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Alabama in 2000.
Sarah is licensed by the State of Virginia to practice as a physician assistant and earned her National Commission Certification of Physician Assistants in October 2000. She is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants.
JENNA CROCKETT

MEET JENNA
Jenna joined Hampton Roads Orthopaedics Spine & Sports Medicine in February 2014. She previously attended the College of William & Mary where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School in May 2012.
Jenna is licensed by the State of Virginia to practice as a physician assistant and earned her National Commission Certification of Physician Assistants in July 2012.

MEET SEAN
Sean Hindman, P.A-C joined Hampton Roads Orthopaedics Spine & Sports Medicine in November of 2015. Sean is a graduate of James Madison University where he earned a Bachelor of Science double majoring in Psychology and Anthropology.
He received his Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School in May 2012.
Sean is licensed by the State of Virginia to practice as a physician assistant and earned his National Commission Certification of Physician Assistants in July 2012. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery.
ANDREW JOHANSSON

MEET ANDREW
Andrew Johansson, P.A-C joined Hampton Roads Orthopaedics Spine & Sports Medicine in June of 2016. He previously attended Old Dominion University (ODU) where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Kinesiology in 2006. After completing his undergraduate education, Andrew continued at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) where he earned his Masters of Physician Assistants in 2009. Andrew has been working in orthopaedics and sports medicine since graduating from EVMS. He works with Dr. Nelson Keller, Podiatrist, at HROSM Foot & Ankle Center.
Andrew is licensed by the State of Virginia to practice as a physician assistant and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
LARRY WASHBURN

MEET LARRY
Larry A Washburn is a physician assistant in Williamsburg, Virginia joining Hampton Roads Orthopedics Spine & Sports Medicine in March 2020. Larry is an experienced physician assistant licensed in the state of Virginia having more than 25 years of experience in primary care, emergency room medicine, urgent care, and orthopedics. He retired from the United States Coast Guard as a physician assistant where he graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in 1995.
Larry and Kim have been married for 34 years, have three children, and two granddaughters with a grandson due any day now!
CLAIRE COGSDALE

MEET CLAIRE
Claire Cogsdale, P.A-C joined Hampton Roads Orthopaedics Spine & Sports Medicine in January of 2021 and practices with Dr. Mark Kerner. Claire earned her Master’s Degree of Physician Assistant Studies from Emory and Henry College, and she also has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia. Claire is licensed by the State of Virginia to practice as a Physician Assistant and she earned her National Commission Certification of Physician Assistants in September 2020. Claire is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. In her free time, Claire enjoys being outdoors, hiking, and visiting the Outer Banks to spend time with her family, friends, and Goldendoodle Louie.
RONALD SMITH

MEET RONALD
Ronald Smith, PA-C, joined Hampton Roads Orthopaedics Spine & Sports Medicine in 2022 as a physician assistant. Ronald earned both his Bachelor of Science in Biology and his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants and certified by the National Commission Certification of Physician Assistants.
Outside of the office, Ronald enjoys spending time with his children, fishing, hiking and exploring the many beaches the Hampton Roads area has to offer.
NICOLE WALSH

MEET NICOLE
Nicole Walsh, PA-C, joined Hampton Roads Orthopaedics Spine and Sports Medicine in 2023. Nicole earned her Bachelor of Science in Human and Heath Performance with a concentration in Sports Medicine from Radford University. She then went on to obtain her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from New York Institute of Technology, where she received the New York Institute of Technology Graduate Scholar Award. Nicole is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Nicole first became interested in orthopedics as a high school student when she suffered an injury that introduced her to the field. Throughout her undergraduate studies, she fell more in love with the specialty, going on to shadow surgeons. One of her favorite parts about being a physician assistant is watching her patients progress and improve.
Outside of the office, Nicole enjoys traveling, skiing, going to the beach and playing with her dog, Scout.
HEIDI BLASKI
D.N.P, F.N.P-C
MEET HEIDI
Heidi Blaski, D.N.P, F.N.P-C, joined Hampton Roads Orthopaedics Spine & Sports Medicine in October 2022. Originally from New York, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hartwick College and her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Canisius College. She went on to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of San Diego.
Heidi is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She was the recipient of the United States Air Force Health Professions Scholarship Program, and served in the United States Air Force as a primary care provider. In New York, she worked on a specialty orthopedic, trauma and spine unit at a level one trauma center.
Outside of the office, you can find Heidi with her family and two dogs. She loves fitness, spending time outdoors, golfing and hiking.
Tiffany Hooks
D.N.P, F.N.P-C, R.N.C-OB
MEET TIFFANY
Hampton Roads Orthopaedics Spine & Sports Medicine welcomed Tiffany Hooks, DNP, FNP-C, RNC-OB, to the team in 2023. Tiffany earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tuskegee University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Washington. She has also earned a Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from The University of Alabama. Tiffany has experience in pain management, and is both an adjunct clinical instructor for nursing students and a preceptor for Doctor of Nursing Practice students.
Tiffany received the Patient Experience Award in 2015 and an Everyday Hero Award in 2018. She has served as Director of the Hawaii American Nurses Association. As a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a registered nurse certified in Obstetrics, Tiffany enjoys educating her patients. Getting to know her patients and helping them improve their quality of life is her primary goal.
Tiffany grew up in Axis, Alabama and is now a military spouse and mother of two beautiful children. She and her family live an active lifestyle and enjoy spending time with their two family dogs.
