MARC FORREST, PT, DPT, MS, OCS
ABOUT MARC FORREST
Marc has been providing care in orthopaedic physical therapy and sports medicine to the Tidewater area since joining HROSM in 2002. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Virginia in 1999, Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia of Virginia Commonwealth University in 2002, and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Evidence in Motion Institute of Health Sciences in 2019. Dr. Forrest is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties since 2015.
In addition to comprehensive physical therapy services, Marc has specialty training in sports medicine with an emphasis on baseball injury prevention and treatment. He also has advanced training in industrial rehabilitation including work hardening and Functional Capacity Evaluations. Additionally, he is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist.
CHAD CARLSON, PT, DPT
ABOUT CHAD CARLSON
Chad joined Hampton Roads Orthopaedics Spine & Sports Medicine in January 2016. He graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with his Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology in May 2009. He subsequently received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Lynchburg College in May 2013. Prior to joining the physical therapy staff at HROSM, Chad served the Tidewater area practicing in geriatric rehabilitation and skilled nursing care. Chad played defensive end for Virginia Tech from 2005- 2009 where he gained interest in orthopedics and sports medicine. He recently served as a volunteer football coach for Poquoson High School. During his free time he enjoys playing guitar, sports, and boating.
STACYE SEAY, PT, DPT
ABOUT STACYE SEAY
Stacye joined our team of Hampton Roads Orthopaedic Spine and Sports Medicine physical therapists in August 2018. She graduated from the University of Virginia with her undergraduate degree in Biology in May 2003 and subsequently attained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Old Dominion University in May 2006. Prior to joining the physical therapy staff at HROSM, Stacye served the Tidewater area providing orthopaedic physical therapy for a hospital-based system over the past 12 years. Stacye is certified in LSVT BIG and kinesiotaping application. She is trained in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy.
During her free time, Stacye enjoys attending UVA and ODU sporting events and spending time with her husband Whit and son Ryan.
SHANNON JACKSON, P.T.A.
ABOUT SHANNON JACKSON
Shannon graduated from ODU in 2014 with a B.S. in Public Health. In April of 2019, she graduated from ECPI University, College of Health Science, as a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant and joined HROSM in May. Shannon is a former competitive gymnast and now, in her spare time, she enjoys coaching gymnastics and has been doing so since 2012.
BRANDON ARENDAS, P.T.A.
ABOUT BRANDON ARENDAS
Brandon graduated from Old Dominion University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and a concentration in Exercise Science. In 2020, he graduated from ECPI University, College of Health Science, as a Physical Therapy Assistant and joined the HROSM Physical Therapy team in June 2021.
Brandon is a former baseball player at Woodside High School and continues to be an avid sports fan and cheers for all teams from Pittsburgh.
