Meet Our Physical Therapists


Bill-Powers-240x300Bill has been practicing therapy since 1980. He graduated Cum Laude from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. He joined Hampton Roads Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine and specializes in orthopaedics, pediatrics and bio mechanics of the foot and ankle. He has been recognized as an “Outstanding Young Man in America” in 1985 and 1986. Additionally, he was recognized in “Who’s Who in Medicine” from 1997-2000. He is a member of the Virginia Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association.



Marc has been providing care in orthopaedic physical therapy and sports medicine to the Tidewater area since joining Hampton Roads Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in 2002. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Virginia in 1999, Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia Campus of Virginia Commonwealth University in 2002, and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Evidence in Motion Institute of Health Sciences in 2019. Dr. Forrest is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties since 2015. 

In addition to comprehensive physical therapy services, Marc has specialty training in sports medicine with an emphasis on baseball injury prevention and treatment.  He also has advanced training in industrial rehabilitation including work hardening and Functional Capacity Evaluations.  Additionally, he is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist.


Stacye joined Hampton Roads Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine in August 2018. She graduated from the University of Virginia with her undergraduate degree in Biology in May 2003 and subsequently attained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Old Dominion University in May 2006. Prior to joining the physical therapy staff at HROSM, Stacye served the Tidewater area providing orthopaedic physical therapy for a hospital-based system over the past 12 years. Stacye is certified in LSVT BIG and kinesiotaping application. She is trained in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy.

During her free time, Stacye enjoys attending UVA and ODU sporting events and spending time with her husband Whit and son Ryan.


Rob-Williams-240x300Rob has been practicing as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant since 2003. He is a credentialed Clinical Instructor with the American Therapy Association with experience in both outpatient and home health therapy. In his spare time, Rob enjoys hiking, bicycling, and playing soccer with his wife Denise.

He has been practicing Physical Therapy since 1997 specializing in orthopaedic sports rehabilitation and joint replacement therapy. He has been a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant since 2000 and holds state licensure in both Rhode Island and Virginia.
