Hampton Roads Orthopaedics Spine & Sports Medicine (HROSM) – the largest orthopaedic practice on the Peninsula — was named the 2019 Readers’ Choice for “Best Orthopaedic Group on the Peninsula” by Coastal Virginia Magazine (COVA). HROSM received the COVA Peninsula Gold Award which represents the readers’ choice for best orthopaedic practice on the Peninsula. This is the 8th consecutive year that HROSM has been presented with a Best of Readers’ Choice Award.
Winners of the Readers’ Choice Awards are chosen by the 7 cities of Tidewater as well as Williamsburg through a ballot-voting system. The voting ballots were opened in January and closed on March 29th. There were over 300,000 votes submitted which stretched from the Southside to Richmond. The overall winners for each category are then announced in a special section published in the July/August issue of Coastal Virginia Magazine.
