Dr. Calvin Kibwe joined Hampton Roads Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in February 2011. He has been practicing podiatric medicine since 1991. He is Board Certified in foot and reconstructive rear foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric and Ankle Surgeons and is a Diplomat of the American Professional Wound Care Association. Additionally, he is co-founder of Ambulatory Foot & Ankle Center, P.C. Dr. Kibwe specializes in Charcot reconstructive foot surgery and treating patients with heel pain. Prior to private practice, Dr. Kibwe served four years of active duty as Chief Podiatrist at an Army hospital. Dr. Kibwe is an avid pilot in his spare time. |
Earnest P.S. Mawusi, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Earnest Mawusi joined Hampton Roads Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in February 2011. He has been practicing podiatric medicine since 1994. He is Board Certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons. Additionally, Dr. Mawusi is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of both the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Virginia Podiatric Medical Association. Additionally, he is co-founder of Ambulatory Foot & Ankle Center, P.C. Dr. Mawusi has lectured on topics to include the diabetic foot as well as total joint replacement in the foot. He is also an Attending physician at the McGuire Richmond Veteran's Affairs Hospital and while there, instructs podiatry residents in foot surgery. He also performs generalized podiatric foot surgery and specializes in arthritic joint replacement and flat foot reconstruction. In his spare time, he enjoys boating and relaxing on the beach.
