HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR MRI SCAN

Feel free to eat or drink as you normally would. However, it’s important not to wear any metallic items during the scan. Before the procedure, you will be asked to remove any metallic items such as jewelry, watches, keys, coins, credit cards, and your phone. Don’t forget to also remove often overlooked items like hairpins, barrettes, belly button rings, toe rings, and any other piercings. Lockers are available in our office for your convenience.

Most MRI scans typically take 45 to 75 minutes, depending on the specifics of your scan. It’s imperative to take any prescribed medications as directed by your doctor before your appointment. To allow ample time for our registration process, we kindly request that you arrive at the office 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

Please note that remaining as still as possible during the scan is essential for obtaining high-quality images and reducing the overall duration of your examination.
